Spencer was appointed to Director, Business Development in October 2024. In this capacity, Spencer works closely with Class 1 railways in connecting and optimizing interline relations. Spencer also identifies new business opportunities, and leads strategic initiatives. Prior to this role, Spencer joined Southern Railway of British Columbia (SRY Rail Link) in August 2015 as a Mechanical Shop Helper. He then held several other roles in the Engineering and Business Development departments before transitioning into a Business Development Manager for SRY Rail Link and Blue Water Rail Services in August 2018. Spencer obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Capilano University in 2018, and obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration from Guelph University in 2023.
